Redcar Boxing Club: Empowering Women in the Ring - A Successful Sparring Day in Washington
Recently on Sunday, 29th of January 2023, Redcar Boxing Club embarked on a journey to Washington Boxing Club for an all-female sparring day. The day was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as Keira Bowden, Jasmina Lujkaj, and Gracie Hubbard represented Redcar Boxing Club in the ring. The girls were accompanied by their coach, Lee Hubbard, who was more than proud of their performance.
The sparring day was a huge success as the Redcar boxers put their skills to the test against the Washington Boxing Club. Each of the girls gave their all, demonstrating their hard work and determination in the ring. The experience they gained from the sparring day will undoubtedly help them to continue to grow and improve as boxers.
Coach Lee Hubbard was full of praise for the girls, stating that they did exceptionally well and that they would have gained valuable experience from the day. He went on to say that it was inspiring to see the girls come together to showcase their skills and encourage each other in the ring.
